John Mark Davis

I graduated from The University of North Texas (UNT) in Denton in 1990 receiving a Bachelor's of Business Administration (BBA) while majoring in Insurance and Finance. During my years at UNT I played on the Men's Golf Team from 1986-90. I was fortunate enough to meet my future bride, Molly, while at UNT and we have been happily married for over 30 years! I am a Second Generation State Farm Agent following in my mother's footsteps and have been a State Farm Agent for 30 years with 25 of those years proudly serving right here in Granbury, Texas!

My wife and I have raised two son's here in Granbury watching both play for the Granbury High School (GHS) Football Team. Our oldest graduated from GHS in 2015 and graduated from Texas State University in 2019. Our youngest graduated from GHS in 2022 and followed in his brother's footsteps down at Texas State.

I spent the prior 30+ years in Granbury and Hood County serving on various committees and organizations including The Boys and Girls Club of Hood County where I spent 2 years as the Board of Directors (BOD) President and 7 total years serving the BOD. I was also extremely active in coaching both of my boys in all of their youth sports growing up from Pee Wee Football (5 seasons,).......to Little League and Select Baseball (6 season,)......to Youth Basketball (14 seasons,)......to Youth Soccer (6 seasons.)

My office currently has a combined 80 years of experience working with State Farm Customers and me and my office team have been proudly serving the Good People of Hood County for a combined 50 years! We offer Auto Insurance, Home Insurance, Life Insurance, and Health Insurance. Our primary focus is taking care of the fine folks in Hood County. But we also have many current customers who live all over the Great State of Texas!

I have worked hard in my agency and have been fortunate in my career to have qualified as a Life Honor/Travel Agent 15+ times and have spent numerous weeks in my career in Bloomington, Illinois at "The Mother Ship" serving on a Task Force and various Focus Groups for State Farm.

My current hobbies include golf, snowboarding, camping, hunting, and spending time with my family.

Spring is definitely in the air! Baseball, Softball, Tennis, and Track are cranking up for all of our local teams! Good luck to all of the local high school athletes as their seasons progress!!
