John Mark Davis

I'm John Mark Davis and my journey as a State Farm Agent began 30 years ago, proudly continuing a family legacy set by my mother. My professional foundation was built at The University of North Texas (UNT) in Denton, where I earned a Bachelor's of Business Administration (BBA) in 1990, specializing in Insurance and Finance. During my time at UNT, I was also a member of the Men's Golf Team from 1986 to 1990, and it was there I met my wonderful wife, Molly, with whom I have now shared almost 35 years of marriage.

Granbury isn't just where my office is; it's home. Molly and I raised our two sons here, cheering them on as they played for the Granbury High School (GHS) Football Team. Our oldest graduated from GHS in 2015 and went on to Texas State University, graduating in 2019. Our youngest followed in his brother's footsteps, graduating from GHS in 2022 before also heading to Texas State.

My commitment to Granbury and Hood County extends beyond my agency. For over 30 years, I have actively participated in various local committees and organizations. A significant part of this involvement includes my time with The Boys and Girls Club of Hood County, where I served for 7 years on the Board of Directors, including 2 years as President. I also dedicated many seasons to coaching youth sports for both of my sons, from Pee Wee Football for 5 seasons to Little League and Select Baseball for 6 seasons, Youth Basketball for 14 seasons, and Youth Soccer for 6 seasons. These experiences have allowed me to connect with countless families and contribute to the growth of our young people in the community.

My office team and I bring a wealth of experience to our State Farm customers. Collectively, my team holds a combined 80 years of experience, with our office proudly serving the good people of Hood County for a combined 50 years. We are dedicated to helping individuals and families protect what matters most, whether that's securing Auto Insurance for their daily commute, Home Insurance for their cherished residence, Life Insurance for their loved ones' future, or Health Insurance. While our primary focus is on serving our neighbors in Hood County, we are also privileged to assist many customers across the great state of Texas.

I have worked hard in my agency and have been fortunate in my career to have qualified as a Life Honor/Travel Agent 15+ times and have spent numerous weeks in my career in Bloomington, Illinois at "The Mother Ship" serving on a Task Force and various Focus Groups for State Farm.

My current hobbies include golf, snowboarding, camping, hunting, and spending time with my family.

Spring is definitely in the air! Baseball, Softball, Tennis, and Track are cranking up for all of our local teams! Good luck to all of the local high school athletes as their seasons progress!!
